These are the women’s version of the very popular Prince loafer. They are an absolute classic in terms of style, and have all the correct details just like the ones back in the day.
These shoes really remind us of the SKA and Two Tone days, where you would see countless people in these. The leather sole makes them excellent purchase if dancing is important for you, we are thinking “Northern Soul”
The shoes are all leather, leather sole etc. In terms of the styling, they have been faithfully modelled on from a pair from the early 80’s, which a friend of Mod Shoes, had kept since then.
Straight out of the box they are very comfortable.
PLEASE BE AWARE, these are a scaled down version of the men’s Prince. The sizing for women is good, but they are a little wider than high street shoes. If possible we recommend taking advantage of the buy 2 return 1 for free offer, in order to get the sizing exactly right
PLEASE NOTE Some customers have been concerned that the sole of their new Prince looks as if it has been worn. We can assure you that this is not the case. The manufacturer “roughs up” the surface a little, to stop them being too slippery when worn, and prevent the wearer slipping on smooth surfaces.

I love these loafers, I will be buying another pair soon as they wear. Soles are slippy so you may need to re-sole as you would with leather, the style, fit, quality is fantastic. I’ve had Dr Martin tassel loafers before, but these are more feminine, stylish, better for dancing, in my very humble opinion!
