The “Marianne” has become one of our most iconic shoes, it is just so vintage and quirky in styling, yet comfortable enough for day long wear and night long dancing !
This style has been developed from an original pair of 1960’s shoes. They look fab with just about any outfit. from shift dresses, to cropped jeans, they really are a versatile shoe.
This shoe is exclusive to Mod Shoes, and made for us by a tiny but high quality company in Spain. The leathers are super soft and require very little wearing in.
The gel cushion insole adds extra comfort without compromising on style.

These are such gorgeous shoes! They are pliable and soft, while still feeling quality. I do not wear heels, and these I can wear for hours with no issue. They are forgiving for wider feet right out of the box. I have virtually nothing negative to say, because they are even more beautiful in person than shown in the listing. If you are unsure about purchasing, I would take the plunge before your size sells out. The only thing is that I would make sure you are ordering the correct size, because I could imagine these being uncomfortable in the wrong size (as any leather dress shoe)

I have always found it hard to find authentic looking 1960s shoes in my size (despite owning a vintage boutique for 17 years now we rarely ever see shoes from this era in a size 8!) so I was delighted to discover Mod Shoes – the Marianne shoes could be original 1960s! I’ve had these shoes for two weeks now and absolutely love them. Quality is fantastic, some people have commented that they are pricey however I’ve compared these to shoes from a very well known high street retailer which were more costly and certainly weren’t all leather which these are.
