These are a version of the very popular “Prince” tassel loafer, with the addition of the fringe and weave detail on the front. They are an absolute classic in terms of style, and have all the correct details just like the ones that we wore “back in the day”.
These shoes really evoke memories of the Ska and Two Tone days, where you would see countless people wearing them. The leather sole makes them excellent purchase if dancing is important for you, we are thinking “Northern Soul” in particular
The shoes are all leather including leather sole . In terms of the styling, they have been faithfully recreated from an original model from the early 80’s
SIZING
In terms of sizing they are fairly true to size, if you are between sizes then probably best go down a size. These will grow up to 1/4 of inch after about 6 hours. When trying on please allow 15 mins for your foot to heat the shoes a bit, this will make the leather supple and comfy very quickly.
The soles are leather, the upper is leather in an Oxblood mix colour

Please Note that are shoes are made mainly in Spain & Portugal and Euro to UK Conversion means that the shoes normally come up a little big. The reason is that a 43, is more like 9 and 1/4.

Hi. The Prince is one of our core shoes, so will be back, but dont have an exact date at mo, they are made from the same last the other princes, so perhaps try another style :-) . In terms of returns, of course you can, its the law :-)

Fit wise, I wear UK 10 in Doc’s and US 10.5 in Sambas. The UK 10 DM’s are bit big for me and I have to wear thick socks for a proper fit. The Prince Loafers in size 10UK fit me like a glove-perfection. I could not be happier.
Also, shipping to Salt Lake City, Utah USA was super quick. I ordered on Thursday morning and received the shipment on Monday.

I normally wear size 11 and ordered this size but found my one foot slipped out when walking so sent these back and re-ordered a size 10. They are a bit tight at the minute but hopefully will ‘give’ the more i wear them. Pity they don’t make the half size which would have been perfect. However the shoe itself is very well made and the colour is fantastic. May be a while before i can feel comfortable to go out so i’ll try to wear them round the house in the meantime

The loafers will grow, better snug at first than sloopy, give them 3 4 hours we find they start to loosen. :-)

Beautiful shoes, I had a pair of loafers when I was much younger than I am now. Eventually they wore out. I loved them then and I love these new ones.
I’ve tried to find replacements but always fell short. These are perfect.
I just tried them on and took a quick walk around the block – so comfortable.

I used to go to the place in conisborough early seventies as a young un and see the big lads dancing to northern soul ,back then it was fantastic but I noticed these loafers they wore and cherry brogues they were beautiful so promised myself to get some when I got working and earning , well I’ve had all sorts over the years but!! These shoes are brilliant, they are a good fit, quality leather upper and soles. Just like the shoes I used to wear in my youth.
I am not really a fashion geek, but they do make me feel great when I wear them, they bring back memories of a by gone age, and the fun I used to have before having responsibility :).
