These boots have been made from the same leather we used on the ‘Big Shot’ boots. That leather is supper soft, and will also take a good polish. This means you can get a great aged look. The soft leather means as well, these will require a lot less wearing in.
These are new cut on the Monkey Boot design. Notice on the close up pics the Jaggered edge. This detail you will find on Monkey boots, made by other English companies for 2 to 3 times the price. Also you have to order and wait for them, sometime a year !
The Sole is a rubber, and of course very similar to make we cant say here ! But as you can guess, very hard wearing, comfortable, and last ages.
The colour on these, is very very nice, and have done our best in the pics, but these look much better in real life !
These boots are made for us, but the same people that make the Shelby, which get lots of fav reviews.
I have worn mine with Jeans and a suit ! They are very versatile boot. It also provided a great alternative for the Hard Mod, late 60s skin look.

Please Note that are shoes are made mainly in Spain & Portugal and Euro to UK Conversion means that the shoes normally come up a little big. The reason is that a 43, is more like 9 and 1/4.

I ordered the Black version 5 Monkey shoes and they arrived super quick and on time. They were well packaged and wrapped beautifully in Mod Shoes Paper within the box. This was a good first impression. Taking the shoes out of the box I knew from the attention to detail they were going to be good. I was not disappointed. These are a good quality well made shoe with unmentionable soles. I was a little worried about sizing but as a size 10 I ordered my own size and yes they are probably a tiny bit bigger but not noticably. The only downside is that the first day I wore them for an hour around the supermarket they rubbed the back of my heel. That said I think the quality of them is worth the hassle of breaking them in and am sure that once I have they will be very comfortable because everythign about them speaks of quality at an affordable price. I really love these shoes, the style and shape and am looking forward to buying the same version in boots. If you are humming and harring just buy them and see for yourself.

Just received these boots and wore them for the first time today. Excellent quality, fit and comfort with no breaking in needed. Look great on and are exactly as I expected from seeing the images on the website.
I’m usually a size 8 but occasionally a 9 with some brands. I ordered 8 which was too small. Returned them as instructed on 5th Jan and received a size 9 on the 10th. Excellent service, would definitely recommend.

What a brilliant pair of boots. Fit was perfect and needed very little wearing in. Look really cool with lighter colour denim but also good in blue with a nice little turn up to show them off. I’ve had 2 shirts and a pair of cool shoes from Mod shoes as well as these boots and the delivery service is amazingly quick. Will definitely be using these guys again.
