These great shoes are named after the famous Buddy Holly song from the 50s.
The Polka dotted leather gives them a real vintage retro feel. The leather is super soft and nice to wear, with little wearing in. The leather lining means that rubbing shouldn’t be a problem, and on first wearing our tester here at Modshoes felt they was very comfortable, whilst looking really good.
The design means that the heel doesn’t feel wobbly, and the rounded front gives plenty of room compared to pointy shoes.
The have a ‘mary jane’ style strap, the sole is rubber and so grips well.
Sizing
Sizing on these is good and we would advise sticking with size.
The shoes are made for us in Spain, by a small company that specialize in small runs and retro feel. The colour you see here is limited to 16 pairs, so its unlikely that you are going to bump into another pair of them!
