Here we have the “Roustabout” Jacket. Inspiration for this exclusive jacket has come from several sources, mainly from the Elvis Christmas LP, but also the Surf – Hot Rod scene in America in the early 60’s.
When putting together this jacket I wanted it to be reminiscent of a jacket from the 50’s, kind of a Harrington before a Harrington! Also I felt it would be good to do something unique and different.
Notice the jacket has a collar, also notice it has a button under the collar, well actually 2 buttons. It allows the jacket to be done up if needed, the second button is for holding back the flap, if you wear your jacket undone, and don’t want the strap falling about.
The colour stripes are done in a 3 band, similar to the style you see on a Lambretta GP200, again this was an influence.
Lastly notice that the cuffs and hem are elasticated. The original 50’s jackets had either this style, or no elastic at all. We wanted the elastic as it holds the body better and is more flattering.
The jacket has inner contrast lining , and an inside pocket to hold wallet phone etc.
The one you see here is in Steel Blue, we also do a Burnt Orange colour
The colour is a bit different to the mainstream, but still neutral enough to mix and match with just about everything. Great with any colour jeans and our “Brett” boots for a tidy but casual look, but smart enough to wear with trousers and brogues for a night out. All round, a versatile and cool jacket that we are sure will become an essential part of your wardrobe.
Machine washable.

Lovely jacket. Very well made and fits well. Would definitely recommend. Would
Like a version with squared off bottom when rather than elasticated also, as an option.
