The Scorcher.
They are based exactly like the late 60s early 70s one. They have leather uppers, and man made sole, which is just like the ones we used as our source.
The leather is super soft on these and will not take hardly anytime to wear in.
We think they are great, but hear it direct from someone who should know.

On the leather, its top quality in the fact it’s stiff but easy to wear ( no blister so far ) im happy ?
Size wize im an 11 & these are 11s……& they fit me ok, a bit loose but thats how i like my shoes to fit, so you may need to go down a size if you after a tight fitting shoe.
For £112.00 you are getting a very good quality shoe that looks just as good as the 70s frank wrights of yester-year today.

SIZING
In terms of Sizing they are generous, meaning go down, not up, if unsure. These will grow up to 1/4 of inch after about 6 hours. When trying on please allow 15 mins for your foot to heat the shoes a bit, this will make the leather supple and comfy very quickly.

I love the shape of these loafers.just how I remember them around 1971-72. I normally wear a size 8 in shoes but I’m really more a 71/2. The tassled loafers do look nice but I owned many pairs through the late 1960s to 1970s and all of mine were leather tops heels and soles. And not forgetting leather lined so as much as this company would like to think these are based on the original loafers there not sorry. Also I used to wear mine with my navy Crombie and my two tone trousers and of course my Ben Sherman shirts.

As always, fast, efficient and top notch service from Mod Shoes. I’ve lived in Loake loafers for the past 30 years or so, but seeing these had to have a pair, reminded me of my first Frank Wrights. Was a bit worried ordering half a size down, but they fit really well. Nice soft, comfortable leather, felt a wave of nostalgia putting them on for the first time. Wore them at home for a couple of hours the day they arrived, then worn for an allnighter just a week later…..spot on, looked great, felt good, no blisters.
