The Baron
New and exclusive to Mod Shoes, our brand new style of tassel loafer the “Baron”
Crafted exclusively for us in Spain, by the quality company that have also helped us to create such iconic styles as the “Lord” and the “Squire”, they have been making shoes since 1947.
The “Baron” has been influenced by the “Suedehead” look of the late 1960’s/early 1970’s. These includes a wider welt and slightly squarer toe, which add to the vintage feel.
These would look superb with a mohair suit and red socks, or equally cool with jeans or formal trousers.
They are available in three different shades of quality polished leather, oxblood, black or teak.
Sizing
These come up small, meaning if you are an 8.5 go for a 9. They are slim fitting style shoe, 60s more than 70s.

Please Note that are shoes are made mainly in Spain & Portugal and Euro to UK Conversion means that the shoes normally come up a little big. The reason is that a 43, is more like 9 and 1/4.

Been a big fan of mod shoes since finding them a number of years ago whilst looking for tasselled loafers.
Have bought some six pairs of shoes now and just received a pair of these. Ordered in 8 &9 and the 8 will be perfect once worn in and thoroughly recommended.
Also ordered the Prince as wanted black but not available in the Baron in size 8, but they’re too wide for my feet so having to go back :(
So, Mod Shoes, I need a pair of this in black in a size 8, and pronto please!!!
