These are aversion of the very popular “Prince” tassel loafer, with the addition of the fringe and weave detail on the front. They are an absolute classic in terms of style, and have all the correct details just like the ones that we wore “back in the day”.
These shoes really evoke memories of the Ska and Two Tone days, where you would see countless people wearing them. The leather sole makes them excellent purchase if dancing is important for you, we are thinking “Northern Soul” in particular
The shoes are all leather including leather sole . In terms of the styling, they have been faithfully recreated from an original model from the early 80’s
SIZING
In terms of sizing they are fairly true to size, if you are between sizes then probably best go down a size. These will grow up to 1/4 of inch after about 6 hours. When trying on please allow 15 mins for your foot to heat the shoes a bit, this will make the leather supple and comfy very quickly.
The soles are leather, the upper is leather in an Oxblood mix colour

Please Note that are shoes are made mainly in Spain & Portugal and Euro to UK Conversion means that the shoes normally come up a little big. The reason is that a 43, is more like 9 and 1/4.

Nicely made shoe, unfortunately I am between sizes, 44 too big in the length too shallow in depth (which might have stretched with wearing) , 43 to short in length and much too tight in width and depth. However Mod Shoes are a brilliant company and have excellent customer relations so returning the she’s was no problem.

Really pleased with these shoes, the prince all stars weaver tassel loafers . Had my first pair of loafers when I was 16 way back when , and was really chuffed to see mod shoes are producing them . I ordered size 8 first but were tight across the instep , have always had this trouble with slip on due to having a high instep , so re ordered in size 9 still a bit tight across instep but the more I’m wearing them the more they are giving . Definitely will be ordering from mod shoes again .
