Called Arthur after Arthur in the TV series Peaky Blinders
In the programme Arthur can be seen wearing a plain capped boot.
The design has exclusively been made for us, and you wont find these anywhere else. Unlike a lot of boots, these have been made to look “Retro Smart”. Notice the front is a Squarer and , more retro shape.
If you have a pair of Shelbys these are made on the same last. So you know they are going to fit just great.
The cognac is very subtle, and the leather type means it doesnt need lots of polishing.
They come with a Leather sole, and the leather upper is soft enough to wear straight away.
Sizing & Wearing InÂ
Comparable boots to these can sometimes take weeks to soften up. I wore my sample ones at one night whilst Djing, and was very comfortable more or less straight away. Yes you do that stiff, boots on for the first time, but the leather soon accommodates. I have worn mine loads of times already and very pleased with them.Â
STICK WITH SIZE, dont go down or up. Width wise they are normal +.
In terms of their looks these will work with a multitude of outfits, inc Jeans, Coloured jeans, Trousers & obviously a suit. We could suggest many colour combination, but a fave would be Prince of Wales, Tweed or Chequered Trousers for that Peaky Blinders look.
Techs:
Upper : Cognac Leather

Mens Sizing
We use the following size conversions. Please be aware that different designs are designed to be bigger than others. We try our best on the product page to mention sizing.
Men’s Sizes
UK | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | 10 | 11 | 12 |
Euro | 40 | 41 | 42 | 43 | 44 | 45 | 46 |
US | 7 | 8 | 9 | 10 | 11 | 12 | 13 |
Please Note that are shoes are made mainly in Spain & Portugal and Euro to UK Conversion means that the shoes normally come up a little big. The reason is that a 43, is more like 9 and 1/4.
Richard Williams –
Beautiful boots which just took a couple of hours wear over a few days beforfe they were fully broken in. There was a small mark on one of the toe caps and the boots were immediately replaced with a new pair without any quible and before I returned the original pair. Great customer service! Just one gripe. Why are the laces so damn long : )
Andrew Lindsay –
Laces have to be long for people with wider feet. A lot of customers wrap them round for authentic peaky blinder look :-)

Incredibly comfy boots, and they look good too, with the cognac design looking good with most clothes because of the two colours.
I found one drawback is the back panel that rests against the ankle is made of a rougher leather, and so don’t wear thin socks when breaking them in, I got awful blisters first time wearing them!
Another plus is given these are properly made boots, I’m hoping if I can find a cobbler, they’ll keep going until the leather finally gives out.
