“The Charles” by Mod Shoes

We love the design of these, we deliberately styled them with a wider front. There are a lot of different brogues out there, but they tend to have a more pointed toe, which is exactly what we were avoiding with these.

The design is very late 60’s early 70’s and we feel that they are very evocative of the great Northern Soul & Original Reggae & Ska era. We can see these shoes worn with denim jeans through to trousers, and of course smart suits as well. The brogue is such a versatile shoe, smart enough for work or special occasions, but also great to wear to the pub with jeans.

The leather is super soft on these, the same as we used for our Monkey boots & Big Shot boots and will also take a good polish. This means you can get a great aged look. The soft leather means as well, these will require a lot less wearing in.

The sole is thick leather, so if you are thinking for dancing , these will really fit the bill !
