Summer is nearly here, and the sunny weather fast approaching. With that in mind, we have developed the perfect addition to your Summer Wardrobe. The “Cortez” cord shoe is just made for those long hot Summer days and nights. So we are thinking shorts and summer polo tops, but of course they can also work well with jeans / chinos, with or without socks. The “Cortez” is perfect for picnics in the park, BBQs, taking the scooter out for a spin and general sauntering around looking cool !
The “Cortez” is made in Spain, and with it’s sturdy sole is a lot less flimsy than some cheaper summer shoes.
Sizing
From the feedback so far, we advise sticking with size. If you are between sizes perhaps go up, especially if you are a wide foot. We will update with any more reviews when we receive them. I am 8.5 and a bit broad, I had a 9 in these, as i like this type of shoe roomy, where as I would have 8 in most other Mod Shoes

Please Note that are shoes are made mainly in Spain & Portugal and Euro to UK Conversion means that the shoes normally come up a little big. The reason is that a 43, is more like 9 and 1/4.

A great cord shoe, these ones look especially mod style and go well with white jeans or chinos with a dark coloured sock to provide a contrast between the two. Nice one Mod Shoes.

Honestly couldn’t be happier with these shoes! Been looking for something like this for ages and finally found a pair that I like, the cord is very unique imo, so much so that I so many positive comments from people when I wore them for the first time out in London at the weekend. So comfortable as well, like wearing slippers on your feet. Bought the chocolate ones aswell for the autumn. The only thing now is to find a decent shoe protector for them!

This is my third pair of these shoes, I have bought 2 cream and 1 navy. The original cream cortez had beige soles which I preferred, my 2nd pair have black soles which are a bit stark against the cream cord. They are super comfortable and we’re great on holiday. Highly recommended.
