We have been trying to do a proper Jumbo Cord shoe for years. Finding the right material has taken an age.
There are several reasons for wanting to have them made, and here they are
- We was asked lots of times
- We were even sent a pair by Matthew Deighton (hence the name) from the band Mother Earth, and also know for many other things but has played in Wellers band, and Oasis, saying “Copy These”
- George Harrison had a pair very similar
- There are numerous 60s groups wearing them
- The Rawlings that we did with DJ shoes ages ago, was meant to be Corded
- They are just so retro cool
Now as you can see we are really chuffed.
The shoes themselves we did deliberately with a man made sole, again the rawlings shoes with did with DJ i felt, looked good, but only suited a small amount of outfits, we wanted these to be more adaptable, and obviously get worn more often.
The Camel colour works well with Denim, but we also think with white jeans, trousers, shorts, Jacket & trousers for cool mod summer look. It really does depend on the rest of the outfit.

Sizing
These are slightly slim, so if you are wide, we would strongly advise going up. The style means that by going up, your feet dont look big

Mens Sizing
We use the following size conversions. Please be aware that different designs are designed to be bigger than others. We try our best on the product page to mention sizing.
Men’s Sizes
UK | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | 10 | 11 | 12 |
Euro | 40 | 41 | 42 | 43 | 44 | 45 | 46 |
US | 7 | 8 | 9 | 10 | 11 | 12 | 13 |
Please Note that are shoes are made mainly in Spain & Portugal and Euro to UK Conversion means that the shoes normally come up a little big. The reason is that a 43, is more like 9 and 1/4.

Great shoe. Usually take an 8 (wide feet) but upsized to a 9 and the fit is spot on. Waiting impatiently to be able to get out and about properly to enjoy wearing them.

Hi, when i first seen these shoes, the review said they were slightly slim so i bought both size 8 and 9.
When i tried the size 8 on, the right foot felt a little tight, however after i walked around on my carpet and sit in them for a few minutes, they had loosened just enough to tell me that the 8 was the size i needed.
I tried them on with an old pair of vintage levis 1966’s, and also a pair of beige selvedge chinos with double turn ups, and they looked amazing!
These shoes look authentic to the period, really versatile, and just really cool! I can’t recommend these shoes highly enough.
Thanks guys, when i return the size 9’s, i’ll be buying something else instead of a refund!
Many thanks
Michael
