A brand new and exclusive burgundy cord version of our classic “Deighton” shoe

We have been trying to do a proper Jumbo Cord shoe for years. Finding the right material has taken an age.

There are several reasons for wanting to have them made, and here they are

1. We were asked lots of times
2. We were even sent a pair by Matthew Deighton (hence the name) from the band Mother Earth, and also known for many other things but he has played in Weller’s band, and Oasis. He really wanted to recreate his original pair.
3. George Harrison had a pair very similar
4. There are numerous 60’s groups pictured wearing them
5. They are just so retro cool

Now as you can see we are really delighted with how they have turned out

The burgundy colour works well with denim, but we also think with white jeans, trousers, shorts, Jacket & trousers for cool mod summer look. It really does depend on the rest of the outfit.
