These stylish shoes have a real retro feel and we absolutely love them ! Called “The Dusty” after 60’s icon Dusty Springfield, we feel that these gorgeous shoes will suit those looking for the elegance of 40’s, 50’s and 60’s styling. They look amazing with a dress, but work equally well with jeans or casuals. The Dusty really is the “go to” shoe for any occasion.
If you are looking for a shoe that combines elegance with all day comfort, then the Dusty is the one for you. The heel height is 3 inches, but because of the sturdy block shape, you just don’t feel that “wobble” that makes a more spindly high heel a scary prospect !

As far as sizing is concerned, the Dusty is fairly true to normal UK size. If you are between sizes, then probably best to go down rather than up. Width-wise they are generous and should accommodate most widths of feet.

I have a collection of 5 pairs of Dusty’s which are mostly patent leather. I take a UK size 6 and buy the same size. I find the fit is perfect of all my patent pairs. I recently bought a plain leather in yellow and these are slightly wider around the t-bar and buckle. Not a huge issue and definitely doesn’t affect me wearing them, I definitely wouldn’t go to downsizing.

Sizing review
This is my second pair of dustys! Again true to size for me size 4 (37), I do like to wear them a little bit personally. They are beautiful shoes and beautifully made, love to wear them. As a tip – all of my shoes that I own are a 4 and I never have issues, I’m always true to size.

These are the comfiest and most flattering shoes ever. I’m contemplating my second pair but just can’t decide which ones as they’re all lovely.
I have wide feet and normally have problems with heels but the style is really forgiving. Sizing is accurate too.

The tangerine and cream Dusty’s are my second pair of Dusty’s and to be honest I didn’t think I would be as impressed with them… but I am!! Again the sizing is true to size and they are so comfortable from the very first time of wearing. I have 11 pairs of Modshoes and love them all but the Dusty’s really do take some beating!
