The “Marianne” has become one of our most iconic shoes, it is just so vintage and quirky in styling, yet comfortable enough for day long wear and night long dancing !
This style has been developed from an original pair of 1960’s shoes. They look fab with just about any outfit. from shift dresses, to cropped jeans, they really are a versatile shoe.
This shoe is exclusive to Mod Shoes, and made for us by a tiny but high quality company in Spain. The leathers are super soft and require very little wearing in.
The gel cushion insole adds extra comfort without compromising on style.

Love these so much, I typically wear and 39 or 40 and I went with the smaller size and they fit perfectly! The patent leather is so much softer and more comfortable than other patent leather shoes I’ve had and the shoes broke in a lot quicker too. I will definitely be getting another pair of these if my size is restocked in the black colorway!

I absolutely adore these shoes. I bought the size 3 – I’m normally a size four but I’ve been finding size 4 a bit big recently, especially with tights or bare feet. These fit really well, walked in them on day one for an hour and a half with no rubbing or pinching. Look absolutely brilliant and the cushion sole is really comfy.

These shoes are a dream. They are so versatile for creating a vintage outfit and though they required some wearing in for me personally, the fit is fantastic and they are so comfortable. The leather is easy to wipe clean and clearly good quality. The heel isn’t too high for wearing all day but gives a nice 1960s vibe to any outfit. I love the cut out detail and the laces.
