This particular colour way was inspired by one of the chaps from the front cover Richard Barnes Mod Book. The picture shows a collection of young mods from Peckham, in 1964, a week after the riots, I think at Clacton . The picture was taken for the Daily Mirror. Its a classic image and has been used everywhere. Anyways on the back of the front scooter, is our hero, on his ankles are what looks like Black & White Gingham Socks. As you can guess we had to get these remade !

Styling wise, there are literally 1000s of options, classic Two Tone Ska being an obvious one

So these are made here in the UK, from Italian cotton. They wash well, but please be careful with them, as they are Italian cotton, so no tumble drying.

• Size wise there is a lot of give in these, so advise going smaller not up.
• They are also mid calf high.
