A number of weeks ago, Mod Shoes introduced a paisley scarf inspired by the shirt John Lennon on wore for Rain photo shoot in 1966, I contacted them, asking if they were thinking of making the actual shirt itself, I received a reply saying – watch this space, you may get a nice surprise in the near future. I thought hmmm hello, that sounds promising. Fast forward a week or so ago and tho and behold, Mod Shoes introduced it. I didn’t hang about too long and bought it straight away. It is the bee’s knees and I have been looking for this Rain 1966 paisley shirt for years. It looks and feels fantastic, the only slight difference is, the shirt John Lennon on wore in this photo shoot, has a beagle collar, the Mod Shoes shirt is button down, but that isn’t a criticism, as I would thoroughly recommend buying this fantastic Rain ’66 shirt. Another great buy from Modshoes.
