The Scorcher May Version
These are a combination of 2 popular styles. The Scorcher has been a great shoe and liked by lots of people trying to find a early 70s style Loafers, i.e nice and square fronted. The May was a Box Top shoe we did and this also went down really well with customers. You can guess what someone said, when are the Scorchers getting the Box Top / Weave effect on them. So here they are , yes we are supper chuffed
Background on the May
Here we have a brand new twist on our very popular “Donna” shoe. Introducing the “May”, box top, weave 60’s/70’s style lace up shoe. The name has been chosen by one of our ambassadors, as a tribute to her grandmother. We have done some collaborations with this ambassador, and she kindly sent us a picture of a vintage pair, which we just wanted to emulate. We love the style and hope to do more colourways in the future. This version is such a classic and will go with so many retro style outfits, as you see below.
If you are a fan of the 70’s you will appreciate the attention to detail on these stunning shoes. take a look at the weave on the upper, and the square toe shape that is so retro. The two inch block heel is sturdy, and the padded insole is perfect for all night dancing.
Styling wise, these beauties look great with our retro tights and a skirt or dress. Also with a smart tailored trouser or jeans.
The “Scorcher May” is such an amazingly unique shoe, available in classic black with oxblood, grab a pair now while stocks last.
Sizing
These shoes have been developed to suit a standard fitting. They have plenty of “Toe Wiggle Space”. Stick with normal size.
PLEASE NOTE : If you need a bigger size than 39, please refer to the mens version. Remember though, the mens Euro size is one bigger than a Womens.
