Weller had a very similar top to this in the early 80’s, and can be seen in both the Jam and Style Council days wearing it.
We loved its striking but simple design, and can imagine it worn like Weller does, either loose or done up. Again mix with some loafers and you got instant ‘Goodfellas’ or IVY styling. Or with jeans and a T-shirt underneath and perhaps some desert boots and you have another great, more casual look.
I have worn mine test one, and it is proper nice, 66 and Modshoes are very pleased with this piece.
Sizing, Slightly smaller than most Gabicci Knit. Depending on your desired fit, and XL fits me, but fits like a top, and not as long as a Gregory Issac’s Yardie, not a cardigan. So if you want to wear something underneath you may need to up a size. We have had one customer who is normally large and they had an XL. If in doubt take advantage of the buy 2, send one back for free scheme we do.
