We did a version of these shoes when we very first started Mod Shoes over 12 years ago now. They are extremely comfortable to wear, and I wore mine on holiday in Greece that year and was really pleased to have a smart shoe that was suitable for warm evenings, I did wear them with shorts and they looked great.. The thing that I liked was that my feet could breath, something my trainers never allowed
In terms of styling, they are made to go with Jeans, or Chinos. Like a desert boot, they are very versatile and I wear them loads. Personally a simple 66 T-shirt or top, jeans and you are good to go.
The sole has a nice bit of bounce to it, and wears in about 1 hour
Sizing
I did go up on sizing on these. My foot is getting broader with age, and I would wear an 8 in our Princes or Shelby, but the Stryders i would wear a 9.

Was absolutely buzzing to see these being sold as missed out the first time.
Lovely, well made shoe.
Size wise I actually went down a size from normally an 8 to a 7 and they fit just right after a bit of wear and stretch slightly. They fit spot on round the ankle and ever so slightly tight at the toe, length wise but think an 8 would’ve been just too “roomy” as I’ll be looking to also wear them in the summer without socks.
Really hope they think about doing some other colourways too.
