The ‘Get Back’ John Lennon Inspired Shirt
In the new documentary Get Back John can be seen wearing a shirt very similar to this. We first came across when Peter Jackson released a 1st look snippet Christmas 2021.
Whilst watching the clip Johns shirt jumped out , and screamed ‘Make Me Again’
It has took a lot of work behind the scenes to get the material made, meaning you cant go to wholesalers and buy this. Its been through several development stages, and across several continents !
We are super pleased with the results though, and brilliant item for any Beatles fan, but also its just such a cool shirt
Styling
So yes you can wear these shirts casually at the weekend, perhaps to a soul, mod or ska do, but they also look good under a jacket, eg. harrington.
The fabrics we choose to work with Jeans and many of our shoes & Boots, but of course they can be worn with a host of other style choices.

Sizing Advice
Stick with size, i am an XL and the XL fitted well, with room. This isnt a slim fitting shirt.
PLEASE NOTE : These are not slim fit, they are normal. For instance the slim fit Brutus that came out recently (the darted ones) , these are bigger than these, but not wide.

I was delighted to find this John Lennon style shirt after watching the Get Back documentary.
The shirt has a nice tailored (but not skinny) fit, the quality is really decent.
5 stars also for the service and the fast shipping, the shirt arrived in Germany two days after I´ve ordered it!
All in all: a great shirt. I´m really satisfied with it.
The only downside: I have the strong desire to present to you your host for this evening, the Rolling Stones, as soon as I put the shirt on :)

Like yourself we only saw the full shirt with the release of the documentary. We noticed as well that its not a full placket, its actually only 1/2 way done. The shirts is also seamed at the back, and the buttons are actually in a ladies direction. So I suspect John was wearing a ladies shirt, no problems with that at all. What Modshoes 66 was trying to do was take a stripe design John wore and adapt to our Jackpot shirt, because we thought customers (and me) would like that. Which they did :-) The clue is in the word ‘Inspired’ :-)

Lovely stand out shirt. Fit is dependent on what you prefer. If you like shirts a little looser then go as size up, but your normal size should be fine.
